1. Assistant Station Master.

Assistant Chase Station is quiet popular job among youth. You only need a Bachelor degree from a recognized institution. The persons acquired can apply for this post.  Candidates of general category for this should be between 18 years and 33 years of age. 

Final Selection Written Examination and Interview  (Including psychological and medical examinations). 

Questions are asked from your general knowledge, general English / Hindi, general arithmetic and numerical and analytical skill.

SALARY DETAILS: They are offering (pay band 5, 200 rupees to 20, 000 rupees grade pay 2, 800 rupees to 8, 500 rupees) as well as many additional facilities.

2. Goods Guards.

After graduation in any field, you are eligible to apply for this post. For this, the age limit has been fixed from 18 to 33 years. Candidates have to pass a written entrance examination for selection of this post. 

3. Ticket collector.

If you have passed 10th grade, then you can apply for the post of ticket collector. But it is necessary to get at least 50% marks in high school. 

If you have completed 12th or graduation, then this limit is not necessary. the minimum age for this post is 18 years and maximum of 30 years. 

The final selection of this post will be two-level written examination and the selection procedure is on the basis of that. 

4. Traffic Apprentice.

For this post, graduated students between 20 and 33 years of age can apply.  Final selection is to pass a two-level written entrance examination. 

SALARY DETAILS:  They are offering a salary between 9300 to 34800 rs with Grade pay of 4200/-.

5. Rail Clerk.

You can apply for this post after completing your High School (minimum 50% marks). This limit does not apply to the minimum marks for the 12th-grade graduation. 

Applications for various recruitment for these posts are invited from various railway boards from time to time by various media, newspapers, internet etc. 

For this, your typing ability is also tested in addition to the written examination. Age of the candidate should be between 18 and 30 years of age. 

6. Stenographers (Hindi / English).

Stenographers are basically typing writers and the jobs only come with minimum typewriting skills which probably is quite good of many students as laptops are a necessity these days.

After passing your 10th grade. You can apply for this post.  Under this category, stenography and typing test are also conducted. Hundred minutes 80 words shorthand and 30 words for Hindi typewriting and 40 words English ability per minute is essential. 

For this, the age limit for the candidate is 18 to 30 years.

7. Catering inspector/manager.

To be eligible for this post, the candidate is required to have a diploma in catering after the completing of 12th and at least two years of experience in this field. 

In addition to this, the written examination for final selection and an aptitude test is also conducted.  Candidates should be in between 18 to 31 years of age.  

8. Opportunities For Engineering Students.

If you are engineering by profession then here comes the opportunity to your way in railways, in addition to the section engineers, electrical/diesel, diesel / mechanical, factory etc.

You can also apply for various posts such as Chemical Supervisor, Metallurgical Supervisor and Junior Research Engineer, Depot Materials Superintendent etc. 

9. Railway Gang Man.

The rank of Railway Gang Man is not at a very prestigious level, but if you see the responsibility then the Railway Gang Man runs on the tracks very efficiently.  Railway Gang Man is like the foundation brick in the railway.  

The job of Railway gang man is to closely monitor the track of the railway under the leadership of a railway mate, in which the various tracks related to the joints and tracks of the rail tracks are removed. 

With the efficiency of the railway gang man, the trains run safely on the tracks.  The Railway Gang Man is responsible for the maintenance of the rail tracks in a section of the rail.  Others A separate group works for the section and it is the important railway jobs in India.

Eligibility: Under the Railways Group D, the academic qualification required for Gag Man post should be either NCVT / SCVT or 10th class or it could also be ITI

For the group D positions of the Railways, IT has now been permanently terminated as per the of the order of the Railway Ministry.  Now 10th pass candidates can also apply. 

The rank of Railway Gang Man comes under Group D.  Candidates should be in the age ranging from 18 years to 33 years for recruitment to this post.  For the upper age limit reserved for the reserved category, candidates need to check rules of the Central Government. 

10. Legal Assistant.

If you have a three-year experience as a law graduate or as a lawyer, you should definitely give this post a try. For this category, age from 18 years to 40 years is eligible. 

Railway employees who have completed their five years of service, law graduates, and Railway Magistrates having prescribed qualifications can also apply for this post. 

Selection is done through a written examination conducted by the following interview.  

11. Railway Trackman.

TrackMan is a major contributor to pushing the main rail. Trackman trains inspect and repairs railway tracks. They inspect at least one inch of the track a day. Trackman is the backbone of the Indian Railways, which acts as a soldier’s army. 

In cold temperature or even in bad weather, these trackmen are stationed on their railway track on duty.  Trackman often trains the railway to lift heavy tracks. The tracks are still replaced by trackman at smaller stations, while at a big station it is changed automatically. It plays an essential role in railways Jobs.

Eligibility: Under this Railway Group, the academic qualification required to apply for this post is NCVT / SCVT or 10th class, ITI.  For Group D posts of Railways, ITI’s requirement has now been terminated as per the order of the Railway Ministry. 

Candidates should be in the age ranging from 18 years to 33 years for recruitment to this post.  For the upper age limit reserved for the reserved category, candidates are exempted according to the rules of the Central Government.  

12. Assistant Loco Pilot.

Assistant Loco Pilot (Diesel) after the fifties, electrician, mechanic, mill right /maintenance mechanic, mechanic (radio / TV), electronics mechanic, wireman, armature, and quill binder, turner, refrigeration and AC mechanic etc.

you can apply after completion of 10th.  ITI candidates can also apply.  Written and Interview Examination is conducted to become an Assistant Loco Pilot.  

13. Gateman.

Railway gatemen’s post is very important in the smooth transit of trains with the human approach. The role of Getman in the railway protects thousands of lives and accidents. 

The job description of the gateman in the railway is to close the menial rail gates at the time of arrival and departure of the train, in which the accidents can be saved. There are more than one lakh rail gates in our country, in which gatemen are deployed at 75 thousand gates. 

Eligibility: This post requires having a 10th grade or ITI pass.  For the group D positions of the Railways, IT has now permanently terminated as per the order of the Railway Ministry.  Candidates should be in between 18 to 33 years of age.
